Reflection upon my own skills and competences and how can I use them at I&E
I am so happy that had my previous education in BAA also, because now I am already used to danish teaching system and I know what I need, in order to achieve successful results in my new program.
After studying Marketing Management in BAA, I realized that theory is not the main thing, which is necessary in business. Theory is something that people can always learn, and, for example, communication skills is something that a person has to practice for a long time. I am so lucky that I had this opportunity already. In Marketing Management I had to work in groups a lot, what gave me understanding how to find a common purpose within the group, how to understand, collaborate with each other, and be tolerant for every different opinion. Moreover, many useful company visits and guest lectures let me realize how business is done in reality and how much does it take to actually achieve success in it. Because of a huge variety of subjects within this program I gained knowledge how important every step is, in order to run business.
All in all, I hope that these knowledge, gained through studying Marketing Management, will help me in I&E program, because I am already used to work with different people, with different attitudes, besides, in my opinion, marketing is the main and of the most important subject in business, so it is good that I could study it for 2 (long :)) years, and I believe – that will make my further education much easier and more understandable.
Reflection upon the areas where I still need to develop
Even though I had marketing in my previous studies, there are still many things which are important in business and which I need to learn indeed. First of all, I hope I will get enough knowledge in subjects related to multimedia and IT (because that seems like a DEEP and DARK forest for me!), moreover I think that I still need to develop myself in creativity, because I have always been the one, who is more precise and specific for everything – so, hopefully, this education can inspire me and find that creative Gintare inside me. 🙂 And finally, (of course) I would like to get all the possible ways how to run the company and be the head of that, because this has always been my dream! 🙂 🙂 🙂
Sooo, let’s wait 1,5 year more and I will tell you if my current expectations will be fulfilled. 🙂
